1. Hello
   
   
   I was a volunteer on Kibbutz Naan in April 1985 ( a long time ago), but even over 20 years later it is an experience I have never forgotton and often still reflect on and talk about with people. I remember feeling so safe and comfortable, despite the political situation in the country.
   
   I would love to hear about what is happening on kibbutz naan now. I remember working in the irrigation factory doing the dreaded night shift, working in the kitchens, peeling so many vegetables and seeing the enormous amounts of mayonnaise being made. I loved the dining room and the interesting meals/breakfasts. I remember being taken on a weekends away as rewards for time spent volunteering. I somehow managed to avoid being put on laundry duty which was one of the most unpopular jobs for the volunteers.
   
   If I remember correctly our volunteer supervisor was Josi?
   
   I will sign off now, but would love to hear more about Kibbuta Naan

3. Good evening
   
   My name is Tony Brandon and I was a volunteer from June 1989 to December 1989.
   
   It was the greatest adventure in my life, I learned how to work hard,
   belong to a community, respect others and respect myself.
   
   I grew up in the time I spent at Na`an and it would be a dream come
   true to return one day and show my wife and daughter where my greatest
   adventure took place. I remember Ada and Yuri, Revital Israel and the
   old caretaker of the school with whom I worked and learned so much.
   Then I worked in the cotton fields until someone realised I was a
   chef.
   
   With love to all on Na`an even though they know not who I am, I
   remmeber them often with fond memories.

4. The best years of my life were spent in Israel, some on Kibbutz Na'an. I was there from 1975-1978 as an Ulpan student. I still dream about those days, learning Hebrew, attending Bar Ilan, feeling I was "home", and to this day, I can still feel the lump in my throat when I returned to America for personal reasons. My memories of those years are still so vivid...I left part of my soul there, no doubt about it.
